Flanked by the Kirulapone Canal and Urban Wetland Park (or Weli Park), the Lake Front Nawala is located a 20 minute drive away from the Colombo City Centre in the heart of a fast-growing metropolis. Nawala is one of Colombo’s fastest-growing suburbs – a chic residential area where many would-be home owners aspire to live in. The town which was historically popular for its pineapple cultivations is now popular for the hundreds of ceramic tile and bathroom accessory shops that seem to dot its almost every nook and cranny. Lake Front Nawala overlooks the Urban Wetland Park now famous for its jogging track, offering residents a fabulous option for recreation as well. Nawala is also located within very close proximity to Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, the administrative capital of Sri Lanka, Nugegoda – where some of Sri Lanka’s leading educational institutes are located, and Narahenpita – where many government offices and departments are located. Hospitals, schools, supermarkets, banks, restaurants and places of religious worship are also located within minutes.
